Delete your Field Training account

You can delete your Field Training account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by asking us by email. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

Delete it in the app

The same steps work in the Android app, the iOS app and the web app at play.fieldtraining.app.

Open Field Training and sign in with the email address of the account you want to delete.
Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Read the confirmation and tap Delete account again.

Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out.

Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email support@fieldtraining.app from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject Delete my account. We'll reply to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your account: your email address and sign-in details.
Your profile (display name) and your app preferences.
Every drill you created, with all its steps and animations, including drills you shared with a club.
Every training session you created, personal and club sessions.
Your club memberships. Clubs where you are the only admin are deleted for everyone, with their members list and sessions.
The copies of your drills, sessions and clubs saved on the device you delete from, along with any changes waiting to sync.

What is kept

Clubs that still have another admin, and the drills and sessions other coaches created in them. You're simply removed from the club.
Club logo images of clubs deleted along with your account may stay in our file storage. They are no longer linked to any club or account, and we remove them in periodic clean-ups.
Drill GIFs you exported and shared outside the app (in chats, email or social media) are outside our control and aren't affected.
If you're signed in on other devices, the app may still hold a local copy there. Sign out or uninstall the app on those devices to remove it.

How long anything is kept

Your data is removed from our database as soon as the deletion runs. Copies can remain in our hosting provider's routine backups for up to 30 days, after which they are gone. We don't keep any other copy of your data after your account is deleted.
